PRESIDENT SPEECH:
The world in general has made trimendous progress in many areas. The Projected Development Goal of having the numbers of people living in extreme poverty by 2015 was statistically achieved. Not before now have so many people had such good living conditions. And never before have so many had access to education and health services. However, the margin between those who are living in prosperity and those who are living in poverty keeps widening; more and more people are in need of protection and humanitarian aid. Infectious diseases are on the rise and the battle to overcome together continue worldwide.
Consolation Foundation Human and Socio-economic Development Policy is based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by all UN Member States in 2015. These goals provide the global framework for efforts to promote sustainable development, peace, equality and justice by 2030.
These six areas are given priority in Consolation Foundation Development Policy:
1. Education
2. Health
3. Children’s Diet and Nutrition Awareness.
4. Humanitarian aid and Social Work.
5. Human rights & Gender Equality.
6. Talent Development & Empowerments.
Social work, humanitarian aid and long-term development must be well-structured. We will improve our possibility for anticipated success progression, if we focus on prevention and reaching the most vulnerable classes. Through doing this, we will also reduce the need for humanitarian aid in the future as many would be independent and free from poverty. Hence, the needy will become helper.
Consolation Foundation Development Policy covers far beyond just Humanitarian Aid. Trade, Investments, Technology Development, Research and Culture, Talent Development, Change Management and efforts to strengthen the national and international legal order are equally of essentials. This is why these areas are also an important integral of our policy in operation.
Hence, we commend the supports of our partners and supporters locally and internationally. Also, our doors are continually open for new partners around the world.
